Dr. Becky Maher is a licensed board certified orthodontic specialist. Did you know that legally, a general dentist can do orthodontics? You will only have one smile in your lifetime and that deserves the expertise of a trained orthodontic specialist. This entails an additional two years of full time training at a university. Not a weekend or night program.

Dr. Becky Maher believes in basing her treatment opinions and decisions on solid scientific evidence and stays current on that knowledge. She does not believe in marketing fads, unsupported treatment trends, or advanced certifications not backed by the board of orthodontics. If there is a controversial area, she will tell you so.

Our friendly team is highly trained and qualified. Our clinical staff are all Registered Dental Assistants (R.D.A.) or Hygienists who have additional training and qualifications to provide excellent orthodontic care. Our staff has been at Valley Orthodontics for several years and have over 50 years of combined experience.

We take pride in knowing that kids and adults have a great time when they visit us. We have a comfortable reception area with a coffee bar and an interesting selection of reading material. We have toys, books and kids games and fun choices for the little ones in our prize box.

We offer convenient appointment times and on-time scheduling. Our office offers appointments between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm during the school year and between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm during the summer.

We are digital and take advantage of all the available technology to improve our communication with you. We are happy to provide you with email or text appointment reminders and our website provides a patient log in where you can look at your account, photos or x-rays and make payments.
